Federation of International Touch



The Federation of International Touch is the global governing body for the sport of Touch.

Touch's origins were in Australia, in the early 1960s. The first official Touch competition took place in Sydney in 1968, and the sport spread to New Zealand not long after.

The sport has expanded rapidly across the globe with member associations found on every inhabited continent. Today, the Federation of International Touch, founded in 1985, has 46 members.
