Faruk Sarac Vocational School Of Design

The building was set up in 1852 as the policy of state industrialization that started in the middle of the 19th century in the Ottomans. It was built in Bursa where silk production and textile weaving was focused. Thus, it is significant for its construction, which gives us an idea about the 19th century industrial archaeology.

Renovated by famous Turkish fashion designer, Faruk Sarac, today the College stands also as an art center with its museum, educational institution and silk ateliers where the modern designs live forever.
