Industry Highlights
• 1986 Started the New York Mastclimbing Work Platform Committee with Commissioner Jack Grille to design the original permitting process for Mastclimbers in New York City; protocol and safety procedures designed in conjunction with the Department of Buildings, Cranes and Derricks Division
• Further revised the working protocol for Mastclimber Installations in NYC with Commissioner Leo Lee
• Designed and engineered the Dunlop 12000 model Mastclimber, the only Mastclimber which is manufactured in the USA
• 1988 - Advisor for the new code for Mastclimbers being written for the SIA, which became the ANSI Standard A 92-9
• 2000 - Secretary of the Committee to harmonize ANSI A 92-9 with European safety standards
• 2005 - Appointed to the New York City Department of Buildings advisory board to review the rules and regulations for Cranes, Derricks and Mastclimbers
• 2005 - Assisted the New York Carpenters to write the safety manual and guidelines for the on-site use of Mastclimbers in the city
